Advertising Week Europe once again returned to London from May 16th to 18th 2023 at the iconic venue, Picturehouse Central.

Bringing together the greatest minds from brands, agencies, media, technology, and popular culture, the conference facilitated robust discussions on the most pressing issues that are impacting and reshaping the future of advertising and marketing.

How does OOH fits within digital ecosystem?

A significant highlight of the conference was the panel discussion on the transformative power of programmatic Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising. Richard Bon, the managing director of Clear Channel, shared compelling insights that emphasized the crucial role of OOH within the media ecosystem:

”Even though OOH is the oldest medium, it is possibly the one with the brightest future;  we all know that OOH is briliant and priming but OOH actually makes the entire media ecosystem work a bit harder and also helps you close that loop” (…) The combination of OOH and mobile search results in a 38% higher likelihood of leading to a purchase. Moreover, when online ads are primed using DOOH, there is a remarkable 36% increase in attention paid to those ads. So, this idea of dual screen future isn’t about TV and mobile. It is about small screen, the one in your pocket and the brick screen, the out of home screen.”
